Service Officer

Accredited American Legion service officers are specially trained to provide expert assistance, free of charge, to veterans and their families. While a majority most of the service officer’s work involves application for VA disability benefits, these compassionate professionals also provide information, referrals and resources on education, employment and business, death benefits, and other important topics. The Post 210 Service Officer can be reached via email serviceofficerpost210@gmail.com or leave a voice message at 215-345-4170.

Programs

Meghan’s Foundation

The primary goal of Meghan’s Foundation is raising awareness and support for veterans and active-duty military who may be experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We do this by developing free, trauma-sensitive programs of yoga and meditation for military, veterans, and their spouses or partners.

In-person and virtual online classes are held each Thursday, 5:30 – 6:30 PM at the Post Building located at 315 North Street Doylestown. Veterans and Family Members can register online (button below).

Bucks County Tour of Honor

The goal of the Bucks County Tour of Honor is to transport United States Military Veterans from the Bucks County area to Washington, DC. A law enforcement escort will accompany the tour while veterans visit memorials and sites that convey the principles of the United States of America. The Bucks County Tour of Honor experience leaves from Parx Casino® East and includes stops at Arlington National Cemetery, World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Memorial Wall. The journey concludes at Parx Casino® East with a “Welcome Home” celebration and dinner hosted by Parx Casino®.

The Bucks County Tour of Honor is an all-expenses paid trip for the veteran and is an experience you will forever treasure. Space is limited, so to avoid disappointment, please complete and return your application to us as soon as possible to secure your seat.
